1What the label means
The label “For Research Use Only — Not for Human Consumption” means the product is supplied as a laboratory research chemical.
- It is not a therapeutic good. It has not been approved by the TGA and is not on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).
- It is not intended for human or veterinary use, or to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
- We make no therapeutic claims about any product we supply.
2Who we supply
We supply research materials to buyers who will use them only for lawful laboratory research. We don't give dosing, use or medical advice, and we can't discuss use in people or animals.

3What it does NOT mean
- It does not mean a compound is unscheduled or unrestricted. Some compounds are scheduled under the Poisons Standard or are otherwise regulated. Buyers are responsible for making sure their purchase and use comply with all applicable laws.
- It does not guarantee quality. The label says nothing about purity or identity. Those are shown by independent testing, and the certificates are on our certificate of analysis page.
- It is not legal advice. Laws change. If you are unsure about a specific compound, get advice from the TGA or a qualified legal adviser.
